Night hours and waiting time on Singapore chauffeur bookings

Late arrivals are normal at Changi. A chauffeur job that starts after midnight is a different duty for the driver and a different line in the fare table. In our sample settings a night window can apply from 00:00 to 06:00. The estimator adds it when the pickup time falls inside that range.

That is not a hidden ‘airport tax’. It is a published time band. If your flight is scheduled at 23:40 and lands at 00:20, the actual pickup—not the ticket time—is what operations will use once the flight is tracked.

Waiting time is the other number people confuse with night hours. Airport arrivals in the demonstration table include 60 minutes after landing because immigration queues vary. City collections include a shorter standby, typically 15 minutes in the sample policy.

If you need the chauffeur to wait through a long baggage delay or a second passenger still in the hall, say so. Extra waiting is a block you can add, not an unlimited courtesy.

Hourly and full-day charters do not use the short city standby in the same way: you have already bought a duration. Going past that duration is overtime, handled as an extension.
